What are gyroids in New Horizons?

Gyroids are decorative features in Animal Crossing: New Horizons where they make sounds and movement when music is played around them. Otherwise, they just wiggle.

The inspiration for creating gyroids in this game is based on Haniwa. Haniwa are basically ancient Japanese sculptures that were with the dead at the time of burial.

One of the most prominent NPCs in the game is Lloid, the construction worker on every player’s island is also a gyroid.

Gyroids can be grown using the gyroid element/fragment. With your shovel, dig a hole and choose your gyroid piece from the menu and use the Bury in Hole option to put it in the ground.

Players are likely to witness steam, and they just simply need to water the gyroid at that point. You’ll be able to dig out your gyroid the next sooner than you think.

Animal Crossing New Horizons has been out for a while now, and as the days have gone on, players have fallen in love with it. Have you play Animal Crossing New Horizons yet?
