MrBeast has made the most out of his YouTube career but it wouldn’t have been possible if he would have stayed in Hollywood. Yes, that’s right, the millionaire YouTuber lately revealed how his career wouldn’t have boomed if he would have stayed in California.

MrBeast has made tons of videos showcasing his creative prowess on the screen, but what fans don’t know is that he came back to his hometown in North Carolina for a pretty good reason.

Why did MrBeast move back to North Carolina?

In an interview with Colin and Samir in 2021, the millionaire YouTuber explained his situation on why he returned to his hometown after living in California for some time. He explained by talking about the rent and expenses that he had to pay for a single video.

He said, “I would not be able to do a lot of the earlier videos we did or even a lot of the current ones in California just because the land’s so much more expensive.” Explaining why, he said, “The warehouse I have and the land I have here probably would cost 10x if I bought it in California or at least 5x. I’m already operating at very razor-thin margins and like constantly running out of money.”

He also added further, saying, “I think being here where things are a little bit cheaper and I can have more space and not as many people harass you here. Whereas in Hollywood, I’m sure like people, you know there’s paparazzi and all that other stuff.” Notably, it felt like he always knew that he will be famous enough for the paparazzi to follow him, which makes his journey even more interesting.

Now, Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has recently bought 100 acres of land and has built a massive 50,000 sq feet warehouse to make his videos. In a recent video with Mrwhosetehboss, he also shared that someone can blow a car inside his warehouse and it won’t be a problem.

Notably, MrBeast shoots a lot of his videos outdoors, which can actually help him decrease the safety issues. Thus mostly making videos on private islands and empty plots.
