Horizon Forbidden West is on its way to your nearest shop this year, which is definitely a piece of great news. The first iteration of the game came out in 2017, and now the studio behind the franchise, Guerrilla Games, is hoping to take things to the next level. Forbidden West was revealed on YouTube back in 2020 and now the title has finally been released.
Sadly, the title won’t be heading out to other consoles, solely because it is an exclusive title. PlayStation will only release the game on PC in the future, but Xbox and Nintendo users will be definitely left out.

Horizon Forbidden West will also see PC release
The PC market has become the next big frontier that PlayStation wants to explore at any cost. For far too long, Sony has kept its esteemed titles away from all the other platforms, just to enhance their prestige. However, the modern times and ever-evolving dynamics of the gaming ecosystem have forced their hands to embrace ‘PC Master Race’.
Games like Dayz Gone, God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, and the upcoming Uncharted franchise have changed the market completely.
Sony’s discovery of this untapped has aided them to build yet another revenue stream. Older titles, which have already entertained the audience for the past decades, will now find a new home. Not just that, but these games will be exposed to an entirely new market that has never experienced them before. This brilliant move has already borne ripe fruits, as the sales of these titles have been exceptional on PC.
