Finally, Sony solved the mystery behind Project Q by revealing the much-awaited handheld gaming hardware titled, “PlayStation Portal”. The hardware would allow remote access to all the games available on your PlayStation with a mere wireless connection. This feature will help the gamers enjoy their PlayStation 5 favorites anywhere and any way they want. Adding to that, it might also let you play Starfield theoretically.
The PlayStation Portal runs on an Android operating system. Interestingly, Microsoft offers an Xbox Game Pass for Android users under the Xbox Cloud gaming policy. Users might be able to change the system to access the OS and load the Xbox program if the PlayStation Portal is in fact powered by Android.
With an Xbox Game Pass subscription, you may play games remotely on your own Xbox console using the Xbox app. You could still play Xbox games on the PlayStation Portal even if you didn’t have the Xbox software since a web browser from a device other than the PlayStation system could connect to the Xbox cloud.

The PlayStation Portal remote player makes no concessions in order to deliver the genuine DualSense controller experience. The sticks’ grippy surface and the triggers’ throw were both comfortable. The device has a sizable 8-inch LCD 1080p screen that operates at 60 Hertz enabling gaming at up to 60 frames per second.
Sony’s latest tease has already sparked so many exciting fan theories. Not to forget, with so many promised features the console would be priced at a bare minimum cost of $199. This makes it one of the cheapest branded consoles available in the market today. Although it is a calculated theory, the possibility of Xbox fans being able to enjoy Starfield sounds like a perfect beginning of the eSports fall season.
