Will Youtuber Ksi Really Fight Ishowspeed or It’s Just a Marketing Gimmick of Jake Paul & Andrew Tate’s Staredown?

YouTube stars, and influencers KSI and IShowSpeed teased the fans with an interesting video on social media. Fans and followers jumped into speculations about what this new “negotiations” could mean for the future of these two internet celebrities. 

Olajide Olayinka Williams “JJ” Olatunji, known professionally as KSI, is an English YouTuber and rapper. He is a co-founder and member of the British YouTube group known as the Sidemen. KSI also is a well-known name in the Boxing scene. JJ is a formidable foe in the ring with an impressive undefeated career. 

Darren Watkins Jr. aka IShowSpeed is a fellow content creator and a close friend of KSI. He is known for his wacky personality and out-of-this-world attitude in his videos. Besides being a YouTuber, Darren is a musician, a soccer athlete, and a Streamer. His unpredictive nature and negligence for social mannerisms have gained him a fair share of notoriety on the internet. 

Though Speed hasn’t officially stepped into the ring yet, in his videos he has teased a lot of times that he has an interest in boxing. That is why the internet was flabbergasted when the YouTuber gave a tease that his first potential rival in the ring could be none other than his senior, KSI. 

KSI and IShowSpeed had their “Negotiations” on Twitter  

On November 12, 2022, KSI posted a video on his Twitter feed, simply titled, “Negotiations”. In the video, it could be seen that both of the influencers are staring each dead in the eye. While KSI’s look was determined and calm, Speed, on the other hand, had his signature craziness dripping in from his eyes.

Speed gave a short growl at the end of the video that visibly made JJ flinch. KSI is the CEO of MisfitBoxing. It is a promotional company that has “influencer” boxing cards series, where internet celebrities face each other in the ring. So, this whole “negotiation” could potentially be a tease for the next MF match between these YouTubers. 

Jake paul and Andrew Tate also had their “Negotiations” for the ring 

On November 10, 2022, YouTuber and ex Kick Boxer Andrew Tate had a negotiation with his fellow internet personality and fighter Jake Paul. The video of the negotiation was shared on Twitter, where it quickly gained a lot of attention from the fans.  

Both of the videos by KSI and Jake were framed almost identically and just had the word “Negotiations” in the caption following the tag of their respective promotional company. So there are speculations floating across the internet that the video by KSI and IShowSpeed was a parody of the Andrew Tate and Jake Paul Negotiations. There may be no boxing bout between Speed and KSI. Maybe it all was just an act of sarcasm.
