Popular YouTuber and gaming insider FightingCowboy made some bold statements about the upcoming DLC. According to the creator’s latest tweet, Shadow of the Erdtree is being made to keep up with all the sky-high expectations fans have from the game. Moreover, the game as per his claims would have the potential to surpass giant titles in terms of experience. “I fully expect shadow to be f*cking massive, basically half the size of Elden Ring. I expect it to overshadow major releases despite being a DLC”, the creator tweeted.

For those unaware, FightingCowboy is among the three main Souls YouTubers that Bandai Namco invites to try out upcoming From soft games. Earlier, the YouTuber had also claimed Armored Core 6 to be released before the DLC which no one believed back then. Considering the track record of the creator’s claims, this seems like highly credible information.

The buzz around the vision

It is anticipated that the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC would include a substantial amount of gameplay and material in addition to a narrative that attempts to bridge some of the narrative holes in the original game. This time around, Miquella is probably going to play a big part because the DLC is taking place in the era before the main game.

Also, in a now-deleted YouTube stream, another Souls YouTuber Oroboro replied to a question, “If you are expecting 25 hrs 25-hour-long adventure then the DLC will probably meet your expectations & then” suggesting it will be bigger than that. But, the stream was deleted later which is not something he does. All these episodes are hints that some exciting announcement from FromSoftware might be just around the corner.
