Mixed martial arts have grown and evolved massively over the course of the last 25+ years. In this time frame, the promotion has ventured into various aspects of entertainment, including TV shows, YouTube, and has also dived into export.

The MMA organization currently has a tie-up with popular game development studio EA and has produced many titles, including the latest UFC 4.

Popular streamer Dr Disrespect, tuned into the career mode of the title to test the waters with his own custom character that was based on himself.

The 39-year-old is a massive fan of combat sports, especially UFC. He turned on the game live on his stream and jumped into the deep end of the pool with career mode and online play. Like how it usually goes, ranked games aren’t easy to play, especially when you are using a character that lacks stats and doesn’t have much to offer.

Dr Disrespect jumped to UFC 4 because of Warzone

Gamers and fight fans cling to their favorite superstars like Jon Jones, Ciryl Gane, Brock Lesnar to pick up wins. But Doc wanted to prove his skills by playing as his own character that did not excel at any particular role.

The Streamer struggled a lot, in the beginning, failing to land a single strike, as the online player continued to knock him out with ease. He turned to training and sparring sessions to get a better hold of his character, but he ran into Wanderlei Silva, who knocked him out once again.

With so many losses under his belt and redemption on his mind, Doc returned to online play, and this time around his confidence and improved knowledge of the game produced better results. He went toe-to-toe against an online player who chose ‘The Beast Incarnate’, but Doc managed to score a knockout to cement his first victory in UFC 4.
