Furthermore, Simona Halep has already vaccinated herself in Romania but remains one of the few tennis players to take it. Hopefully, her move will sway a lot of her colleagues to do the same.
Great news! Today Simona Halep got her COVID vaccination shot. "I wanted to get vaccinated. I came with an open mind and I'm fine. I was vaccinated with Pfizer. I'm fine, I haven't had any side effects now. It's for everyone's sake and that's why I decided to get vaccinated." pic.twitter.com/QQkddaiEDQ

On the flip side of the coin, some players are against the vaccine. ATP players Diego Schwartzman and Andrey Rublev have never been vaccinated in their life and thus won’t be taking the coronavirus vaccine as well. Whereas World No.5 Elina Svitolina is worried about the side effects of the vaccine and thus won’t be taking it.
