The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has completely taken over the internet with its release. Furthermore, players are enjoying the revolutionized iconic features from the previous title Breath of the Wild.

BOTW is still considered a masterpiece among the community and meeting fans’ expectations was the most complex challenge for Nintendo while developing TOTK. Interestingly, Nintendo also tests players’ real-life skills through in-game shrines. As Utsushok Shrine is known to test players’ Golf skills, Mayachin Shrine puts fans under a Baseball test. Here are some simple steps fans need to follow in order to conquer the Mayachin Shrine.

Nintendo has designed some of the in-game shrines quite tricky and difficult for players. They would need complete control over their in-game skills to pass various mini-games inside the shrine. Moreover, the use of the Ultrahand skill could be complex to understand in the Mayachin Shrine.

Not to mention, some fans are still not aware of the optional treasure chest that can be received by hitting the second target. The Mayachin Shrine is located at Central Hyrule — specifically, next to the Exchange Ruins south of Windvane Meadow (coordinates -0705, -0869, 0031). To conquer the Mayachin Shrine, players need to follow just these 5 simple steps.

Step I: After entering the shrine, first make your way to the central area. There you will notice a switch and a glowing pillar. Now, Stand on the switch to the left of the glowing pillar to reveal a large orange target on the left, before heading out to the pitch.

Step II: Players’ objective would be to build a baseball bat with the help of a nearby item. To accomplish this goal, they will need to use Ultrahand skills on to lift one of the stakes and rotate it horizontally. Later, they will be tasked to insert it into one end of the spinning mechanism.

Step III: After attaching it to the spinning mechanism, you need to attach two white ‘sticks to the embedded stake and create a long ‘bat’.

Step IV: Now just return to the platform and rotate the pillar (Swing the bat) and patiently wait for the rotating ball to hit its target. Once the ball hits the target, players will be able to complete the Mayachin Shrine Baseball puzzle.

Step V: Interestingly, TOTK also offers another optional chest in the Mayachin Shrine. To unlock this chest, users need to hit an optional second target revealed on the right that’s blocked by a hanging board. In order to hit the second target, fans need to use two stakes and affix them to the block above the hanging board.

By hitting the optional target, players can get their hands on all the chests available from the Mayachin Shrine. Moreover, the optional chest will offer an Energizing Elixir that will come in handy for players on their TOTK journey.
