Sandler was recently congratulated by basketball player LeBron James for being nominated for Screen Actors Guild Award 2023. While this turns out to be the most extraordinary hype for the celebrity’s fandom, one would be delighted to know that Sandler was a gamer himself. More so, he also did a science fiction movie based on legendary arcade games like Pac-Man and Tetris named ‘Pixels.’ And then, the world got to know the video game that Sandler vouches to be the best at.

Adam Sandler once declared him to be the best player in an 80s arcade game

Pixels was an action sci-fi film that had taken the concept of a world that would be like if video games came out of the screens and raided the streets. In the science fiction movie, Sandler gathered his friends and fought against the fantasy powers.

In his interview with the media organization Screen Rant, he got asked about the video games that were his favorite and the ones that he played while growing up. He said, “Yes – I don’t know if I had a favorite. I had the one I was best at, it was ‘Galaga.’ So I put the most quarters in that one eventually.”

He continued, “But yeah, when I was a kid, it was a big deal, it had just come out. It was when you’re a kid to think you can actually do this stuff, play these games and shoot things and have it all work. ‘Space Invaders’ was kind of my first love, and ‘Defender’ and all these other ones – I loved them, but I wasn’t as good at them. The ‘Galaxian’ and ‘Galaga’ ones, that’s what I got good at.”

Thereby, it seems the legendary actor would win every session of playing the arcade game, Galaga. While the community would wish to see him playing the game, one can surely get entertained with his upcoming movie Murder Mystery 2.
