Next time when England Lions will get back into blue jerseys down under, it will see their two influential batsmen making a comeback to the limited-overs squad after backing out of the Bangladesh tour.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced the 15-member squad for the ODI and T20 series against India, Alex Hales and Eoin Morgan return to the squad. Morgan will take back the charge as the captain of the team and Alex Hales, known for his explosive batting style will open and take the responsibility of giving the team a solid foundation.

Eoin Morgan and Alex Hales had backed out from travelling to Bangladesh to play the ODI series held in October, reason being lack of security. Joe Root is also included in the side after being rested for the Bangladesh tour and will bat at his regular no. 3 position in the batting lineup.
