Emotional Brittany Mahomes Gets Real About Hubby Patrick Mahomes’ Isolating 180 Day Grind

Recently, Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes’s wife did a Q&A session on her Instagram. One of the fans asked Brittany, Mahomes’ wife if the time spent away from her husband wears her down. The reply from the mother of two kids was an honest and emotional one that resonated well with a lot of people.

180 Day NFL Season is tough for Brittany

There’s hardly any American sport that comes even close to the NFL. Be it in terms of fan-following, the passion of players, the intensity during the games, off-the-field antics, and other aspects. NFL is a grand occasion. It’s like a carnival that goes on for about six months. Brittany Mahomes, the KC Chiefs QB’s wife revealed the difficulties regarding the same. During a Q&A Instagram session, a fan asked her, “Is it easy on you emotionally to have Patrick away so much.”

Brittany who shared an emotional hug with her husband on Independence Day replied to this in her own way. She said “Not easy, but it is what it is. You learn and adapt as you go! He works very hard and we are very appreciative of everything he does for our family.” The reply from Brittany who’s also a mother to two kids gave a solid understanding of what the families go through during the NFL season. Mrs. Mahomes comes across as a proud wife and mother who’s shown her full support towards her husband. Now as the Mahomes kids enter their schooling years, the Chiefs co-owner has revealed some interesting details.

Brittany Mahomes is considering home-schooling

The Q&A session had quite a few interesting sets of questions. One of Brittany’s followers asked, “Will your kids go to regular school OR will you homeschool?” Brittany replied to the same question saying “I am leaning towards home school”. The Mahomes couple has two kids, a son Bronze, and a daughter Sterling.

Talking further about the kids, the mom suggested that both the kids have athletics in their genes. But for herself and Patrick, the importance lies in giving freedom to their kids. Options are open for the kids to either pursue sports or any other field that suits their interests.

With the NFL season due to start in two weeks’ time, the Chiefs would be looking to regain their title. Furthermore, as per Patrick, with him leaving the family and kids for another six-month period, he wants his kids to know that their dad is working hard towards achieving their dreams.
