The IPL 2019 is in full swing and the focus is once again on the emerging rising stars of the event. Numerous talents have come out of the tournament from the past several years. Several players like Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Krunal Pandya, Yusuf Pathan, and Ravindra Jadeja gave a recognition to their names with their impressive performance in the IPL.

1. Prithvi Shaw
The young opener from Mumbai was set to open for India against Australia until an injury ruled him out. Delhi Capitals has always promoted the youth players over the experienced ones. Opening with Shikhar Dhawan, Shaw has shown his ability to perform in the crucial games.
He was close to hit his first century of IPL against Kolkata Knight Riders. Shaw played an incredibly well, scoring 99 off just 55 balls with an astonishing strike rate of 180. He is one of the key players for the young Delhi Capitals. The 19-year-matches has scored 130 runs in 4 matches with an average of 32.50. It will be interesting to see how Prithvi performs at the later stages of the IPL 2019.
2. Shreyas Gopal
The 24-year-old leg spinner caught the eye of Rajasthan Royals team selector at the 2018 IPL auction. The Spinners are ruling the IPL 2019 with the likes of Yuzvendra Chahal, Imran Tahir, Ravindra Jadeja. Shreyas Gopal too has been impressive in the IPL 2019.
He took 6 wickets in 4 matches an incredible economy rate of 5.58. He has a marvellous bowling average of 11.16 with the best figures of 3/12 against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Gopal took 3 crucial wickets of Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Hetmeyer. He will be a key bowler for the Royals to break crucial partnerships with the magical googly.
3. Shubhman Gill
Shubman Gill is undoubtedly one of the rising young star for India. Kolkata Knight Riders got the perfect combination and the right balance in their squad with the coming of the the youngstar at no. 4
Gill has not got enough chances till now in this IPL with the likes of Andre Russel coming in to hit the big shots. Gill will be tested when Russel does not perform and he will be responsible to take his team through the death overs. He certainly is one of the prominent players in this IPL to watch out for. He helped his team to win the first match against SRH with an unbeaten 18 runs, taking some pressure off Andre Russel.
4. Vijay Shankar
The All-rounder might be 28 years old but he has just emerged as one of the promising players for India as well as as Sunrisers Hyderabad. He has the experience of playing four ODIs and eight T20 matches for the national team.
Shankar has been one of the best all-rounder in the 2019 edition of IPL. He has been scoring well with the bat. He scored 84 runs in 3 matches with an average of 42. But the most eye-catching stat about the all-rounder’s batting is the strike rate, he has an amazing strike rate of 200. Though he has not bowled enough overs in this season, he has shown that he can be an option as a surprise bowler in the middle overs. He has bowled 3 over till now giving 26 runs with no wickets. It will be interesting to watch how the all-rounder performs in crucial situations of the match batting at the lower end.
5. Sam Curran

The left-handed bowling all-rounder from England has already impressed the world with his all-round performance for his country. He proved his worth with an incredible bowling in the death overs for Kings XI Punjab.
The 20-year-old picked 4 for 11 in just 2.2 overs including a hat-trick against the Delhi Capitals last night. Curran has secured his position as the strike bowler for the Kings XI. He has picked up 6 wickets in two matches with an average of 10.50. Sam would play a vital role in Kings XI death overs. It would be interesting to see how he performs against the biggest hitters like Andre Russel, Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant.
