Dana White has done what many considered impossible. The UFC President secured an undisclosed location for UFC 249 and other events. On the show Safe Distance with Mike Tyson, he revealed plans to, “get some normalcy back into the country.” However, Conor McGregor will not be part of UFC “baddest card” ever.
White said he has four or five locations, of which one is reportedly an island. He told ESPN MMA, “what we’re going to do is, we’re going to get the fighters somewhere, and we’re going to bring them to this location. They won’t know where they are headed to, but there’s definitely some planes involved. Things like that especially for the island.”

It sounds eerily similar to the video game Mortal Kombat with some fans comparing White to the game character Shang Tsung. However, independent MMA reporter Jeff Sherwood tweeted that the secret UFC location is the Tachi Palace Casino Resort.
Fans and fighters do not know what to believe. Dana White is keeping mum on the issue as he believes it keeps “the creeps” away. However, UFC Lightweight Fighter Conor McGregor provided fans with his take on the venue.
Conor McGregor says Ireland is the Secret Location for UFC 249

Conor McGregor’s suggestion that the secret island is the Emerald Island of Ireland can be easily ruled out. This is because White’s UFC 249 fight card comprises largely of fighters based in the United States. UFC 250 too has seen Jose Aldo pull out as he will not get an American work Visa as per a ‘Combate’ report.

McGregor is not part of UFC 249. He was overlooked for the Tony Ferguson fight, despite volunteering to fill in. The reason for being overlooked stems from him being an international fighter who may be grounded due to coronavirus travel restrictions.
The fighter vowed to compete three times a year, making his return to the Octagon in January this year. However, his fights in the next 2 months may be in jeopardy unless he can make it to the secret location.
