There was a lot of fan speculation with fans trying to figure out what was the CEO of Twitter and Tesla doing at a World Cup final. Musk too didn’t keep a low profile, he was active on Twitter throughout the final.
What was Elon Musk doing in Qatar?
Twitter seemed to be concentrating on something else while the Argentines battled Les Bleus on the pitch. A spectator managed to capture a snapshot of Elon Musk at the stadium. Elon Musk was standing with Jared Kushner. Kushner is an American businessman and happens to be former U.S. President, Donald Trump’s son-in-law. Kushner was also well-known as Trump’s senior advisor.

It’s hard to figure out why both businessmen were present at the game. Neither of them was wearing a jersey that would suggest they were there to support a team. The USMNT was knocked out of the FIFA World Cup several rounds ago. However, the two might already be great friends and the World Cup final could have been one of the places they decided to hang out and network with other businessmen.
Elon Musk posted a tweet just after Les Bleus scored their second goal in the final. Elon Musk tweeted, “24,400 tweets per second for France’s goal, highest ever for World Cup!”
