24 year old Kylian Hazard, the brother of Belgian footballer Eden Hazard, was arrested in Belgium after being caught for over speeding last week. Kylian’s car was reported to be flashed doing 240 km/h in a traffic enforcement camera, which is way over the 70 km/h speed limit in that area.
The police stopped the car and arrested the player around 6 in the evening, and his driving license has been suspended for 15 days.
Following the incident, Kylian posted a video on Instagram with the caption reading, “The road belongs to everyone, all concerned. Be safe”.

Kylian Hazard repented for his mistake and apologised in the video posted on Instagram
“Last week, I made an almost irreparable mistake. I put my life in danger and I almost put in danger that of the people around me, so I would like to apologise to the people who follow me,” he was seen saying in the video he posted on the social media website.
“I have visited a centre with people who have suffered road accidents and that has allowed me to realise that we must be very careful with the car,” he added.
“There is no nothing safe and an accident can happen at any time. Because of my profession, I must show an example and, in this way, I did not do it. Therefore, I want to apologise to everyone.”

After spending one season in the Belgian Second Division, it was announced on 25 June 2014 that Hazard joined Pro League side Zulte Waregem on a two-year contract, with an option to extend the contract for another season. In signing for Zulte Waregem, Hazard followed in the footsteps of his older brother Thorgan, who spent two seasons there on loan from Chelsea.
The 24 year old attacking midfielder is currently playing in Belgian First Division A side Cercle Brugge. He was recently announced as a permanent signing after spending a season at Brugge on loan with 4 goals in 17 appearances.
