Real Madrid are on the verge of completing their second signing within a week as Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard is set to join the Spanish giants for a £88 million fee, which could rise upto £130 million with significant bonuses and add-ons.
Hazard all but confirmed his exit after the Europa League final triumph over Arsenal last Wednesday. “I think it’s a goodbye, but in football you never know. My dream was to play in the Premier League, I did this for seven years for one of the biggest clubs in the world. So now maybe it’s time for a new challenge”, the Belgian said.
Eden Hazard had a prolific campaign with Chelsea, winning the PFA Fans’ Player of the Year and Premier League Playmaker of the Year award after scoring 16 goals and registering 15 assists for the Londoners.

Los Blancos are looking forward to a huge summer transfer window with many big-money moves set to occur before the next season commences. Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic has already completed his transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu in a €60 million deal. Porto defender Eder Militao was signed back in March and with Eden Hazard, Ferland Mendy and Christian Eriksen to likely follow, it looks like Real Madrid will be back on their feet come next season.
