Overcoming the challenges of disability and bullying at school, Woodhall has turned himself into an ace athlete, becoming the first double amputee to earn an NCAA Division I scholarship. To him, the Paralympics are the perfect stage to showcase the limitless capabilities of human bodies. However, he emphasized that it’s no easy feat. Tons of grinding and preparation goes into the making of a Paralympian. “It’s important to know how hard everyone at these Games works. We train every single day just like the Olympians – we’re prepared for this, we’re ready for this and a lot of people have dedicated their entire lives to this,” said the Paralympics runner.
