Fans expected a lot from Day 2 of E3 2021, and it seems like it has already exceeded most expectations in under an hour. The Xbox and Bethesda showcase started off with a bang with the first-ever look of Starfield. But, it looks like the Microsoft-owned brand has kicked things up a notch by revealing new information about Halo Infinite.

The 343 Industries developed franchise is considered to be the pièce de résistance of the Xbox games library. Over the years fans have played it for countless hours in its popular multiplayer modes. Following the reveal of Halo Infinite last year, players waited a long time to hear some details about multiplayer in it, and the developers have stepped up to the challenge with an epic reveal trailer. Along with that, the event also shared some cheerful news for players as the game will now arrive this Holiday season.

Halo Infinite to release in Holiday 2021 with free-to-play multiplayer mode

After the failed reveal of the game last year, 343 Industries revealed a delay in the production of Halo Infinite. But it seems like everything is back under control for the developers as they shared some delightful news to the fans. Halo Infinite will now release with the campaign and multiplayer modes during the Holidays this year. It will release on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Windows PC. Along with that, the game will also release as a Day 1 Xbox Game Pass title.

Other than that, the E3 2021 event also shared some pretty incredible news for fans regarding online multiplayer. The developers announced that fans can play the hotly anticipated Halo Infinite multiplayer mode for free from Day 1. So it looks like there won’t be any barriers for all players to become a Spartan hero.

Halo Infinite will play with 120 FPS on Xbox Series X

The developers also shared some pretty sweet details about the game’s features for the next generation consoles from Xbox. They announced that Halo Infinite will run at 120 FPS on the Xbox Series X. With the Series X having the most powerful hardware out of all the consoles in the market currently, it seems like the game will run smooth like butter.

Along with the reveal trailer, 343 Industries also released a blog about everything new arriving in Halo Infinite multiplayer. The game is only a few months away from launch and following the release of this trailer it seems like fans can’t wait to get their hands on it.
