From E3 2019 to E3 2021, it seems like Elden Ring wants to come full circle. It has been two years since FromSoftware, and BANDAI NAMCO first announced the game at the annual expo. However, since then, while the game has been a part of many events and awards, it had nothing to show except a single trailer.
Fortunately, ahead of E3 2021, many signs point towards Elden Ring returning to the realm of existence. However, before we get into why this is a possibility, it is important to note that these are all speculations. If the game’s past is any indication, these should be taken with a grain of salt. However, this time the hints are stronger than ever.

A couple of days ago, PCGamesN noticed something unusual on the daily Elden Ring update channel on YouTube. The host, Mordecai, was counting down to E3 2021. However, on this day, he changed to countdown to the Summer Game Fest. The timer read 8 days, which he followed up with a cryptic tweet that read, “Everyone, I got hopeful today. Do all you see?”
The first letter of all the words from this tweet form the phrase ‘Eight Days’, which means Mordecai was suggesting that Elden Ring would show up at the event. The rumor got even more heat when popular leaker Jeff Grub also retweeted Mordecai’s tweet. In fact, he added a caption from his end that read, “I’m feeling optimistic about Elden Ring today.”

Not only this tweet, but Jeff has also made several Elden Ring references in the recent past. Clearly, the man is trying to show that he knows something that many don’t, but clearly want to.

The Game Award host and former E3 presenter Geoff Keighley was also one of the people hinting towards the arrival of Elden Ring through cryptic tweets. He shared an image of an eclipse going to happen on 10th June that forms a ‘ring’ of fire. Clearly, Keighley couldn’t have been more subtle with his hints.
On June 10, 2021, the rather distant new moon gives us an annular – ring of fire – solar eclipse. A bright annulus, or ring, will surround the moon silhouette. ☀️🌑
