Mario and his friends head up to outer space in Mario + Rabbid: Sparks of Hope. The brand new villain Cursa has taken over the realm, and the Nintendo characters must do everything to stop them. The cinematic trailer shows off all the new vehicles and weapons that are coming to the fight.

According to the developers, Ubisoft and Nintendo have high hopes from Mario + Rabbid: Sparks of Hope. The Ubisoft Forward event at E3 2021 also included a discussion segment. The developers talked in brief about all the changes Sparks of Hope has as compared to the previous title.

Ubisoft is going to try a completely different formula with this edition, something Switch players haven’t seen before. Moreover, unlike the previous edition, Mario + Rabbid: Sparks of Hope is strictly going to be a single-player game.

Ubisoft Forward reveal includes a gameplay sneak peek and a 2022 launch date

Two of the most exciting details about Mario + Rabbid: Sparks of Hope from the Ubisoft Forward at E3 2021 were the gameplay sneak peek and the launch date. While Ubisoft didn’t announce an exact date, they confirmed that the game will definitely release in 2022.

Unlike the 2017 Mario + Rabbid: Kingdom Battle, the levels in the new edition aren’t linear. Instead, the maps will offer players a chance to roam around freely and hunt down their enemies. There will be a total of nine heroes alongside Mario, all of which Ubisoft and Nintendo will announce in the future.
