Dwight Howard and his journey on DWTS ended after disappointing low scores. But that won’t stop the celebration, which marks a special occasion in the upcoming month. To make it more memorable, DH12asked his audience on social media to choose a place to their liking. North Korea would interestingly turn out to be a few’s suggestion and who better in the NBA to turn to other than Chicago Bulls legend Dennis Rodman?
“My Birthday is December 8th and just like a typical Sag I’m trying to spend it somewhere where the vibes are the best 🤩 Help me decide Where I should go 🤩 👀 it’s time to dance somewhere around the world and spread some smiles!🇱🇹🇨🇦🇦🇺🇿🇦🇱🇧🇮🇶🇲🇰🇬🇷🇦🇫🇯🇲🇸🇬🇫🇯🇮🇪🇩🇴🇺🇬🇪🇪🇭🇰🇵🇷🇧🇷🇩🇪🇲🇾🇲🇳🇸🇦🇦🇪🇰🇷🇯🇵🇪🇸🇦🇺🇮🇩🇲🇽🇹🇷🇲🇳🇲🇽🇳🇬🇭🇹🇧🇸🇲🇦🇲🇽🇲🇱🇲🇾🇱🇧🇨🇳🇹🇭🇮🇳🇺🇸 @whereishoward 👣” Howard posted with the flags of about 50 countries.
One suggested North Korea in the comments, with more than a few flag emojis. And this isn’t the first time he received the suggestion. One of his earlier posts requesting to comment down the country’s flag he needs to visit also saw the same suggestion. So Howard took note. “@dennisrodman we out 👀” he replied.

11 years before this nudge from the 3x DOPY, Rodman set on his first meeting with Kim Jong Un. Visiting North Korea was not just for diplomacy purposes, but for The Worm, it was about feeling important. “According to Vice producer Jason Mojica in Fifield’s book, Rodman agreed to go to North Korea because it had “been a long time since anyone cared that he existed, and he was amazed and excited to find that he mattered.”

They watched and enjoyed an exhibition basketball match, featuring three Harlem Globetrotters and 12 North Korean players on mixed teams. They both also exchanged pleasantries, but it would soon mean a little more for the rebound king. Rodman told Kim: “Sir, thank you. You have a friend for life.”

Have an interesting take?
Dwight Howard probably eyes the VIP experience
Kim extended the invitation first to Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen because he loved the Bulls. However, once they declined, it was Rodman next on the list. He was happy to oblige, claiming he was unaware of the country’s political landscape. But it turned out all well for him.
“Pyongyang extended a formal invitation to Rodman through travel consultant Michael Spavor, a Canadian who promoted tourism and investment in North Korea and gave him the VIP treatment. Rodman toured the DPRK’s Wonsan seaside resort, sailed on Kim Jong Un’s $7 million megayacht, and went horseback riding,” NK News reported.

As per reports Rodman has now been to the country, a total of 7 times, where once he also sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to Kim Jong Un. He even once unintentionally referred to Kim’s daughter as “Ju-ae,” and everyone here would stick with it. Until a South Korean intelligence official would step in to correct. It was revealed that Kim introduced his daughter to Rodman using the Korean term “jeo-ae,” which means “that girl,” which he mistook for the name.
Even though Dwight Howard might have lost the chance to win the Mirrorball trophy, he isn’t letting it pull down his spirits.
