UFC has some huge fights planned in the coming year. While Conor McGregor makes his return on January 18th, Khabib Nurmagomedov defends his title against Tony Ferguson on April 18th. Conor McGregor makes his much-anticipated UFC return on UFC 246 against Donald Cerrone. Interestingly, this fight is in the welterweight division. This would be the third welterweight fight in UFC for McGregor while Cerrone has a fair amount of experience at this division. On the other hand, Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Tony Ferguson has been made official for the fifth time. Both fighters are on an incredible winning streak in the division and it is safe to say that Ferguson has the most chances to beat Nurmagomedov. However, former lightweight interim champion, Dustin Poirier thinks otherwise.
Dustin Poirier has shared the octagon with both Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov in his fight career. While he fought McGregor back in 2014, he faced Khabib Nurmagomedov for the lightweight title in the main event of UFC 242. Unfortunately, on both the occasion the outcome did not go in favor of Poirier. However, that did not stop Dustin to speak his mind honestly when asked to predict the next fight of his past opponents.
When asked to pick a winner for Conor McGregor vs Donald Cerrone, Poirier predicted McGregor to win via TKO.

Khabib Nurmagomedov has dominated all his opponents in UFC. However, Tony Ferguson presents a unique challenge on the ground. Ferguson is offensive from his back and he is unpredictable. He has submitted fighters before and he does have a wrestling background, which might be helpful against Nurmagomedov who relies on his grappling ability to break his opponents. However, Poirier does not give any chance to Ferguson on the ground against Nurmagomedov.
I don't believe he'll submit Khabib from his back https://t.co/1JeKm6bIKA
