Sebastian Korda has made a scintillating start to the 2021 season. Having turned professional in 2016, Korda has finally achieved the milestone of breaking through the Top-100 ATP rankings. Now ranked No.88 in the world, Korda has proven his mettle at the highest level and has established himself as a formidable force.

The 20-year-old reached the exclusive club of Top-100 ranked players after winning his second ATP Challenger Tour title in Quimper, France. Korda defeated Filip Horansky in straight sets in the final and won his first title of the season. The American began the season on a spectacular note by finishing as the runner-up at the Delray Beach Open.

Sebastian Korda breaks into Top-100 rankings

When Korda decided not to compete for the 2021 Australian Open qualifiers, it came as a shock to many. However, his decision of playing at the Delray Beach Open and Challenger Quimper instead has paid off the right way.

On his memorable day, the official Twitter account of the ATP Tour congratulated Korda on becoming the latest GenNext player to break into the Top-100 rankings. Korda replied to the tweet and described the moment as a dream coming true.
