Almost a day after a piece of shocking news befell the streaming community, Dr DisRespect has opened up on the issue. He made a twitter post addressing the issue, and it appears not even the Doc knows what happened.
“Twitch has not notified me on the specific reason behind their decision… Firm handshakes to all for the support during this difficult time”, Dr DisRespect wrote in a Twitter post.

It is strange to see Twitch not making the Doc aware of the reason. Then again, he mentions ‘specific reason.’ He also thanked his supporters on the tweet.

Twitch’s statement, as reported by Verge reporter Shannon Liao, was quite restricted.
Twitch's statement on @drdisrespect ban: "As is our process, we take appropriate action when we have evidence that a streamer has acted in violation of our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service. These apply to all streamers regardless of status or prominence in the community.”

Shannon Liao had confirmed Twitch’s statement after the ban. Doc violated some community guidelines, but it is still not known what they were. Dr DisRespect’s wife had posted a story on her Instagram account last day thanking everyone for her support.
Shortly after the news, Dr DisRespect’s subscribers were refunded. The news made the rounds further confirming that the said ban could be permanent. The Doc had more than 4 million subscribers to his name.

The Twitch streamer was banned in 2019 following an E3 incident. He had gone live on stream from the men’s bathroom that led to him getting a temporary ban. This time around, however, the situation looks much more serious.
Doc is well known in the community for his comedic gimmicks through which he entertains his viewers. He is also a great player in many of the well-known shooters. We can only hope to get a clearer picture of what led to this abrupt debacle.
