The mysterious Twitch ban on Dr Disrespect
In March 2020, Dr Disrespect signed an exclusive multi-year contract with Twitch. But only three months later in June, his channel disappeared from the platform. Many of Two Time’s fans were worried about the worst for his channel. All their suspicions became true when Twitch later posted a confusing statement confirming his permanent ban from Twitch.
Twitch's statement on @drdisrespect ban: "As is our process, we take appropriate action when we have evidence that a streamer has acted in violation of our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service. These apply to all streamers regardless of status or prominence in the community.”

Many fans and creators received a shock of their lifetime because of Doc’s popularity on the platform. Along with that, no one really knew the proper reasoning behind the ban from Twitch. The platform has always sent emails to the creators to clarify the developer’s decision to suspend or permanently ban them. But Dr Disrespect has claimed that he has no clue about the reasoning behind this mysterious ban.
Twitch has stated and clarified in a recent stream that all creators suspended or banned receive emails detailing the reason why.

Since then, many fans have theorized about the cause behind this Twitch ban. Some claim that it might revolve around a potential Mixer deal for Doc. Creators like Keemstar and Jake Lucky have talked about the speculations involving former Twitch employees that talked about Doc using the Mixer deal as a leverage to gain a new contract from Twitch. But fans can only consider it to be a rumor until Twitch or Dr Disrespect releases a statement about it, which seems highly unlikely.
What has happened since then?
Following his ban from Twitch, Dr Disrespect moved to YouTube Gaming. Since then, he has grown on a lot on the Google platform with his channel now having over 3.4 million subscribers. He has had some exceptional moments on his livestreams while playing games like Call of Duty: Warzone, Apex Legends, and many more. But it’s not been a smooth ride for him.
He has lost his Call of Duty partnership following the axe from Twitch. Along with that, the ban from Twitch is quite harsh as he cannot stream with any players from the platform. So no one has seen him on the purple platform until he accidentally appeared in an advertisement during a Warzone tournament.
