The total prize money purse for the 2022 Dubai Desert Classic is $8 million. Moreover, the winner will receive $1,333,330, which is the standard 16.66 percent payout according to the DP World Tour’s prize money distribution chart. However, only the players who will make it to the weekend will receive a share of the total purse.

Apart from monetary benefits, the winner will also receive other perks for winning the event. The winner will get 46 OWGR points and a two-year exemption on the DP World Tour. Furthermore, he will also receive 1,335 Race to Dubai points, which is a season-ending championship.

Hence, players will aim to lift the trophy as the other perks along with the prize money are equally valuable, especially at the end of the season.

Notably, there were over 78 players who made the 36-hole cut. Hence, the organizers brought in another cut line after the 54-holes to filter out more players. So, only the players who make it to the final round will receive a share of this prize money.
