Fans witnessed some incredible golf in the first two rounds of the event. Shergo al Kurdi created history at the Ras al Khaimah Classic as he became the first-ever middle east player to make the cut at DP World Tour Championship. Meanwhile, the golfer from Jordan has recently turned pro and is displaying some phenomenal golfing skills.

Joy Chakravarty, a renowned golf journalist, took to Twitter to inform everyone about this historic moment. He wrote, “History has been made in DP World Tour! For the first time ever, a Middle East player Jordan’s Shergo al Kurdi has made the cut. The recently turned pro is 8-under par through the first two rounds of the Ras al Khaimah Classic.”

On the business end, Shergo is currently T-8 for the event with a score of -8. He carded -4 on day one with five birdies and an unfortunate bogey on the 8th hole. In the second round, he was once again four-under for the day with five and a bogey to remain -8. Additionally, the golfer from Jordan is four strokes behind the lead and will hopefully continue his momentum in the final two rounds as well.

Not to forget, Ryan Fox currently leads the event with a score of -12. Hence, the final two rounds of this event are going to be eventful and exciting for both fans and golfers alike.
