Less than 3 days ago, Jon “Bones” Jones (26-1-1) and Dominick “The Devastator” Reyes (12-1) were part of a spectacular main event at UFC 247. It was a closely contested fight where both fighters put everything on the line.
Jones failed to show up in the early rounds and was outstruck by Reyes. But, being the champion he is, Bones was able to turn the tides in his favour during the championship rounds. Despite the early domination by The Devastator, Jones was granted the decision victory.
This left many fans, fighters, pundits and even commentators disgruntled. Everyone had their own opinions to give. Even the President of the company had a different say than the judges. It was one of the worst nights in MMA judging history.
