Former World No. 1 Serena Williams has been considered as one of the greatest female athletes of all time. Her recognition goes beyond tennis, and the 23-time grand slam winner has truly been an asset to the game. Her dominance has continued over all these years, even when she’s entered different stages of her life.
Williams first began as a teenager and still continues to compete at the top even after entering motherhood. Looking back at her shining career, Serena has literally conquered everything in the sport. She has won each of the 4 grand slams a minimum of 3 times each.

When Serena Williams is training, that’s all she thinks about
The professionalism Serena’s been able to maintain after all these years is respectable. Recently, her agent, Jill Smoller, revealed more about Serena when she’s on tennis courts. She said, “When Serena is training, that’s all she’s thinking about. Smoller also said that when she loses a big match, it’s a major blow and she can “get very dark and down on herself and wants time alone.”
Players are human, and they can get affected by certain losses. Each individual is unique, and different players react differently to circumstances.
With the birth of her child, Alexis Olympia, Williams has been occupied with other responsibilities surrounding. On this, Smoller said, “She always shows up for her baby. She doesn’t have that luxury to disappear, because she’s a mom.”
Reflecting on tennis and Williams’ performance in the 2020 season, she made it to the semi-final at the US Open. She withdrew from the French Open before her 2nd round match due to an Achilles injury. Fans will hope to see her in Melbourne for the 2021 Australian Open.
