Jon Jones and Dana White have embarked on an ugly altercation ever since the UFC denied the former’s super-fight with Francis Ngannou.

It all started after Jones expressed his wish to move up to Heavyweight. As soon as he posted a Tweet regarding the move, “The Predator” replied to Jones. And thus started the saga that shook up the UFC Universe.

However, the possibility of the matchup materializing never made it past the initial discussions at the UFC Office. Jones felt terrible about the UFC’s decision and wrote an emotional message to describe what he was feeling about everything. As soon as his discussions with the UFC about the super-fight ended, Jones took to Twitter.

Later, in an interview with Dana White, Bret Okamoto asked about the Jones-Ngannou fight. The response would then “add salt” to how the whole situation went down earlier. The UFC Boss said that Jones was demanding an absurd amount of money. To this, too, Jones responded on Twitter.

However, Dana went on to respond to Jones’ claims of “Dana’s lies.”

Dana White is willing to take a lie detector test to prove that he is not lying about Jon Jones

The UFC President said, “It’s not like I can’t prove what I’m saying is true. We have text messages. I’m not gonna put his text messages out in the press. I could. If Jon Jones wants to sit down take a lie detector test about who’s lying and who’s not. We can do that too.”

Nevertheless, “Bones” did not wield to Dana’s confident move. He said he is gonna keep defending himself.

White also went to the extent to say that Jones was asking for “Deontay Wilder level money.”  Of course, Jones has his guard up and does not want his image to bear the consequences of such a comment.

Well, both Dana and Jones stand firm on their respective grounds. While Dana does claim that Jones is the GOAT, many believe that it is just a move to calm the Champion down.

While there might be some logic to it, there is also an opposite school of thought. White does not really need to answer Jones. Moreover, it seems highly unlikely that he would make such specific claims without an actual discussion. To top it off, he always has the option of releasing those text messages.
