Angel di Maria has reportedly agreed a five-year deal to join Paris Saint-Germain with Manchester United ready to accept their bid. A fee of £43 million has been finalised for the Argentine winger who has had quite a tough season at Manchester.
Di Maria was bought at about £60 million just a year ago from Real Madrid & impressed everyone in the Copa America until succumbing to a hamstring injury during the final against Chile. The French champions want Di Maria to be on their squad facing Chicago on 29th July, their first match in the US tour. Di Maria, who failed to make any impact last season, stated that he would try to be a success at Manchester United next season but is very keen on joining Paris Saint-Germain at the moment.
Also, Manchester United are also linked with PSG’s Edinson Cavani who, as they claim, will be a perfect replacement for the departed Robin van Persie. Manchester United have also lined up a probable replacement for Di Maria; Nicolas Gaitan of Benfica who has already agreed personal terms and is ready to join Manchester United for a fee of £21 million. But for the moment, a swap deal with Paris Saint-Germain cannot be ruled out as things start to heat up in the transfer market.
