During the Rising Pune Super Giants match against the Mumbai Indians, there was a moment during the Mumbai innings which prompted guffaws from everyone watching. RPS player Manoj Tiwary was wired up and on the mic to the commentators at the time. During an over bowled by Deepak Chahar, Tiwary was in the middle of a discussion about team preparation and his own fitness. Then Kevin Pietersen interrupted the discussion and asked Tiwary to convey a message to Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
The message was that he was a better golfer than the former Indian captain. Tiwary dutifully passed on the message to an amused Dhoni. He replied in a truly MS Dhoni manner “He is still my first Test wicket”. Needless to say, Pietersen was left at a loss for words, he could only manage to say “It was referral…It was referral …Not out…”. It was in reference to the fact that Dhoni’s appeal for caught behind was turned down by Billy Bowden. The South African born former England player later tweeted about the incident.
Magnificent from @msdhoni on the mic this eve! So much fun for viewers to get the humorous side of a champion! I'm still better at golf! https://t.co/nyTF49vUe5

Dhoni has always been well-known for witty one-liners and it never fails the entertain the audience. He is playing the IPL for the first time as a regular layer instead of the captain.
