MS Dhoni is known to be a very humble person, both on and off the cricket field. He joked around with the ground staff of Pune and rewarded them for their stupendous effort in getting the ground ready for Chennai Super Kings.
Now, he has earned himself even more fans by inviting over Sudhir Kumar Gautam to his farm-house for lunch. Any casual cricket fan will be familiar with Sudhir, the man who became famous for following around the Indian Cricket Team and painting himself in the tri-colour to show his support.
He started off as a die-hard Sachin Tendulkar fan and after his retirement, regarded Dhoni as his god. Sudhir took to twitter to share his emotions on the amazing gesture by the former Indian captain.

Sudhir Gautam has been a constant fixture whenever India played at home, waving the Indian flag every time an opposing wicket fell or an Indian batsman scored a boundary. He was India’s answer to the famous Barmy Army support group of the England Cricket team.
A few years back, he had the privilege of meeting his idol, Sachin Tendulkar in person. Tendulkar himself is known to be a very kind person and Sudhir’s dream came true when he met the God himself and took a photograph with him. He also recently wished the legend personally on his birthday.

His unending support of the team is an embodiment of the fact that cricket is a religion in India. The players are our heroes and Sudhir is the best of them all.
Meanwhile, after a successful season with the returning Chennai Super Kings, where he led them to the IPL title, Dhoni is taking a mini-rest at his hometown before travelling with the Indian team to Ireland to take them on in a two-match T20I series. It precedes the much-anticipated tour of India to England, where again Dhoni will play a crucial part in three T20Is and five ODIs.
