Developers Reveal Roadmap and Battle Royale Changes for Call of Duty Mobile

After its release in October last year, Call of Duty Mobile carried the massive success of the series over to the mobile gaming community. While Call of Duty’s immense popularity comes from its titles on consoles and PC, CoD Mobile introduced the traditional maps, modes, characters, and weapons to mobile gamers.

Season six is ongoing in CoD Mobile after Activision released the new patch earlier this month. Now, the developers have revealed what’s in store for the game in May. New events, game modes, and some exciting changes are coming to CoD Mobile.

Call of Duty Mobile schedule for May

The developers, in a recent community update on Reddit, released a broad roadmap for multiple events and game modes arriving to Call of Duty Mobile this month. They have already released Capture The Gold, Kill Confirmed, Rust, and a brand-new Battle Pass for the new Wild West-themed season. Nonetheless, more content is headed towards the player base throughout the month.

One of the primary focuses is Gold Rush events. Players will receive rewards for testing out the Kill Confirmed mode and entering battle royale matches. Prizes include the Flowing Bronze series of BR class camos, M4LMG–Moonstone, and the LK24–Flowing Bronze.

New seasonal challenges, along with the next SMG, Cordite, arrive on May 14. The Saloon multiplayer map, 1v1 Duel, and Tactical Grenade Cryo Bomb are also coming in mid-May. Additionally, another battle royale mode, Poltergeist Class, will follow in late May. Here’s the complete schedule of May’s game modes:

• 4/29 – 5/14 ~ 2v2 Showdown Mode (MP)
• 5/8 – 5/21 ~ Gold Rush Events begin
  • Available in Kill Confirmed and Battle Royale
• 5/8 – 5/10 ~ Winner Bonus
  • Ranked Mode bonus available every weekend in May
• 5/13 – 5/19 ~ Free For All mode (MP)
• 5/14 ~ New Seasonal Challenges

CoD Mobile battle royale changes

The developers also revealed an image of the Isolated map, teasing incoming changes. The changes will occur sometime in June.

The developers will further introduce a new system with future updates to reward dedicated players who have progressed to the max level. Moreover, numerous bugs such as audio, black screen, and World Championship issues were fixed.

In other news, CoD Mobile World Championship is continuing with the qualifying phase, with matches every Thursday. The open qualifiers commence on May 24. The tournament has a massive prize pool of $1 million.
