Every week Bungie adds nerfs and buffs to the company’s popular title in Destiny 2. From nerfing popular weapons to improving unwanted abilities, players have seen it all. Recently, the developers even added a sneaky nerf to the game’s most popular mod currently in Particle Deconstruction.
The mod from the seasonal artifact in Wayfinder’s Compass has been a game-changer ever since it arrived. Players have loved it as it massively increases the damage output of Fusion Rifles and Linear Fusion Rifles. However, recently, the developers added some changes to it which prevents Guardians from stacking Tether to it. Tether allowed players to debuff enemies and increase damage output. But, players can’t do that anymore. So what’s the best DPS combo for players to use in the game right now?

Particle Deconstruction, Focusing Lens and Well of Radiance are key in Destiny 2
Particle Deconstruction is still the most important mod to go after in Season of the Lost. Players can stack upto five of them for a 40 percent debuff for any Fusion or Linear Fusion Rifle. Players can stack regular debuffs after receiving the 40 percent from Particle Deconstruction. However, following Hotfix 3.3.0.3, Guardians can’t do that anymore. But, the developers at Bungie have forgotten to change this rule for Divinity. Players can still stack Divinity with Particle Deconstruction for an extra 30% debuff.
By having Wells of Radiance, players can receive an extra 25 percent damage boost. Plus, Weapons of Light will grant a 35 percent damage boost as well. But, buffs rarely stack in Destiny 2. Here’s where Focusing Lends plays a huge part. Focusing Lens adds an extra 18.7 boost with Well of Radiance. However, this damage buff won’t be applied with the arrival of the Titan Bubble. But, because of this mod, players can stack Well of Radiance and Bubble.

Other mods to look out for
In total, with Divinity, Particle Deconstruction, Focusing Lens, Well of Radiance and Bubble, players now have a 3.08x damage boost. Plus, Guardians can add more mods as well to this combo. This includes Font of Might which grants a 25 percent buff and it stacks as well. They can also add Elemental Time Dilation to increase the mod’s time of buff. The time increases by stacking multiple Font of Might mods, with four of them allowing Guardians to have 30 seconds of buff.

With this entire combination, players earn about 3.84x damage boost. Players can use various Fusion Rifles to avail this massive increase in damage. This includes the Cartesian Cordinate, One Thousand Voices and Null Composure. Bungie may have nerfed the game’s most popular mod. But, there are still powerful combinations for PvE builds, and this is probably the best one out there.
