Destiny 2 has a massive arsenal with weapons of all kinds. From Rifles to Shotguns, the game has it all, and each of them serve a different purpose in the popular Bungie title. While some of them excel in the Crucible, others perform like monsters in the game’s highly coveted PvE modes. This includes Grandmaster Nightfalls, Raids, Dungeons and many more.
In Season of the Lost, the meta changed drastically with the arrival of the new seasonal artifact in the Wayfinder’s Compass. With no Breach and Clear, and the highly dangerous Particle Deconstruction mod, Fusion Rifles have received a major boost. But do these weapons still beat the popular old meta weapons of Season of the Splicer? Here are the game’s best PvE weapons that players should have in Season of the Lost.

Fusion Rifles take center stage in Destiny 2 PvE
One Thousand Voices- Eye-popping DPS numbers:
In Destiny 2, Particle Deconstruction’s biggest upgrade seems to happen with this Exotic Fusion Rifle. It deals some of the highest DPS in the game right now, and it works well against any champions and boss. Its ammo economy can be a bit of a problem. However, only few weapons can compete against it in terms of power.

Null Composure- Versatile in Destiny 2 PvE:
Null Composure is quite versatile thanks to the double perk options in the third and fourth column. The ritual weapon allows players to change the weapon depending on the activity they will compete in. With the changes to Rapid Frame archetype in Season 15, this weapon is perfect for targeting single enemies with its high DPS.

Vex Mythoclast- Three in One Weapon :
Vex Mythoclast has quite the perks and features that no other Fusion Rifle on the list has. Thanks to its intrinsic perks, the weapon shoots like an Auto Rifle. However, they can also fire a powerful single fire beam, just like a Linear Fusion Rifle. Plus, it takes great advantage of mods like Particle Deconstruction from the Wayfinder’s Compass.

Reed’s Regret- Trials Reward is special:
This Legendary Linear Fusion Rifle recently arrived as a reward for Trials of Osiris. The Precision Frame Stasis weapon has some great perks, such as Vorpal Weapon, which gives a damage boost. The God Roll for the Reed’s Regret also includes Triple Tap, which helps regain ammo for the Linear Fusion Rifle as well.

Other weapons to use in Season of the Lost
Fatebringer- Timelost or not, it’s still good:
Destiny 2 has some amazing Hand Cannons that are still viable for PvE in Season of the Lost. One of them is the Fatebringer, which has a much better Timelost variant with double perk options in the third and fourth slot. Plus, it’s a guaranteed God Roll as well. With the buff in Season 15, players can deal a lot of damage against enemies in many activities.

Ager’s Scepter- New Destiny 2 rifle packs a lot of punch:
Ager’s Scepter is the title’s first ever Exotic Stasis Trace Rifle. It’s one of the toughest guns to get in the game right now because of the many quests that Guardians have to complete to get it. However, the weapon is powerful, especially with its catalyst, and players can create quite a well rounded Stasis build around it.

Witherhoard- Still got it:
Witherhoard has always been a powerhouse in the Bungie title thanks to its intrinsic perk in the Primeval’s Torment. Following the removal of the Breach and Clear mod, Grenade Launchers have taken a massive step back. However, this Exotic Grenade Launcher is still going strong and players can still continue to create havoc with it.

Le Monarque- Combat Bows back in fashion:
With unlimited Primary Ammo in Destiny 2, Combat Bows have become quite viable, with Guardians not having to worry about running out of them. This puts the Exotic Combat Bow in Le Monarque at a brilliant spot for players to use in PvE. Bows also do quite well against Overlord Champions, and as this one deals poison as well, players should definitely try it out.

Falling Guillotine- Destiny 2 Sword with great perks:
Falling Guillotine is a Void Legendary Sword, and players can try for the God Roll by checking out Banshee-44’s inventory. With the God Roll, including Relentless Strike and Whirlwind Blade, Guardians can go on a tear against opponents in PvE. It’s brilliant against Champions especially against Overlord Champions. the sword’s definitely worth checking out.

Eriana’s Vow- Works perfect against Barrier Champions:
This Exotic Weapon has a scope and an intrinsic perk that shoots shield-piercing ammunition. Plus, it’s strong against Barrier Champions as well, and other than Auto Rifles, few weapons are great against them. It also has an amazing catalyst, which increases the magazine size. Plus, by holstering the weapon, it also reloads it as well.
