Destiny 2 Season of the Lost has finally arrived with some new content for fans to enjoy. For the next six months, players will have a lot to play with before the developers at Bungie finally release the Witch Queen expansion in 2022. Until its arrival, players will know a lot more about the character as this season will act as a prologue to the storyline.
Just like every other season that has come before, Season of the Lost has refreshed the Grandmaster Nightfall playlist. Players will have access to six of the toughest challenges to complete every week for the next few months, and it seems like Bungie is about to cause a lot of headaches to a lot of players for a long time this year.

Destiny 2 players to face a brutal Grandmaster Nightfall playlist in Season of the Lost
The Grandmaster Nightfall for Destiny 2 Season of the Lost include The Hollowed Lair, Lake of Shadows, Exodus Crash, The Corrupted, The Devils’ Lair, and Proving Grounds. Players can say that the Lake of Shadows will be an easy challenge for most skilled players in the game. The Devils’ Lair even with all its annoying sections like the tank area is still manageable for most fans. However, that can’t be said about the rest of them.
Exodus Crush can provide a lot of problems with the Fanatics and the rather hard to kill Pikes. Players probably hated this Nightfall more than anything when it first arrived, and even with all the changes, it’s still tough to complete. Plus, The Hollowed Lair will also cause issues as well, with its extremely challenging Boss fight that can cause a nightmare for every player. But, nothing will top the two hardest Grandmaster Nightfalls in Destiny 2 right now.
The Corrupted Grandmaster Nightfall returns
To the dismay of everyone in the community, the Corrupted Grandmaster Nightfall returns to the game in Season of the Lost. Many fans agree that it’s probably the most difficult one to attempt, or it might be a close second behind the Glassway. This Nightfall Strike has it all in terms of chaos, enemies which can annoy the hell out of one and many more. Plus, players have to carry a ball around all the time, which can be a painful task. Finally, there’s an insane boss fight, and players can only battle it if they somehow reach the end.

The schedule also has Proving Grounds, which has its own set of headaches. From one of the toughest boss rooms in the game to the Psions with Void Shields that cause players to question their existence, it seems like Bungie want to literally hurt fans mentally.

With a schedule like this, it seems like many Destiny 2 players might not be competing for the Conqueror title this season. They might farm Nightfalls like Lake of Shadows and the Devils’ Lair a lot of times. However, they will be content even if they complete something like Proving Grounds or the Corrupted once.
