He finished with a figures of 7-6, which is now the best in T20s surpassing Ajanta Mendis’s 6-8. The list also features Yuzvendra Chahal, Rashid Khan and Ranganna Herath.

India succeeded in clinching the three match series 2-1, after a defeat in the first match. While Deepak Chahar’s performance sealed it for India, there were other noteworthy performances including a half century from Shreyas Iyer. Shivam Dube was also extremely handy with the ball and there was a moment when he turned the match to India’s favour with two wickets in two balls.

How twitter reacted:
As it?s turned out, excellent all round performance by India. Deepak Chahar undoubtedly the hero, but important knocks from Rahul and Iyer which put Bangladesh under pressure. And superbly led by Rohit Sharma. Well played!??
