LeBron James and the Lakers have departed from a season that could be their back-to-back championship year. Nonetheless, the criticism has snuck back, and the King is under the radar of the GOAT conversation.
It’s been particularly tough for Bron and his team with injuries hitting the team through the regular season. They never bounced back to their usual ways and finally faced a setback against the Phoenix Suns in the Playoffs. This 4-2 defeat also proves to be LeBron’s singular first-round playoff loss in his 18-year starry career.
While things have fallen apart for him, LeBron James has slipped on the GOAT ladder for many people. Considering the comparisons drawn between him and the former great Michael Jordan, the latter is gaining a clear pedestal in the recent past.

Michael Jordan or LeBron James?
American stand-up comedian, Aries Spears, took a dig at the Lakers’ star after he made it out of the postseason. He believes that the debate over the greatest of all time is ‘over’ and Michael Jordan has emerged as the best to play the sport.
“It’s over. The LeBron James, Michael Jordan GOAT debate is fu**ing over. MJ six rings. All you’re talking about, ‘LeBron ain’t never been knocked out in the first round’. Who’s here now? Like Jordan said, ‘It ain’t how you start it, it’s how you finish,” Spears added further.
“How did MJ finish? Six rings, undefeated, never played a Game 7 in the Finals, 6-0. I don’t wanna hear this shit no more. Jordan is the GOAT. And, when the f**k did LeBron pass Kobe? Let’s get it right, Jordan, Kobe, then Bron.”

Maybe Bron isn’t in the debate anymore
Well, the famous Spears has clearly knocked out Bron from the conversation right behind MJ and Kobe Bryant as well. The three have been swapping their places in this debate every now and then. But recently, LeBron has attracted criticism that has pulled him out of the scenario.
Last year, Bron and his offensive partner Anthony Davis led the team to a championship inside the Orlando Bubble. But, this time around, he couldn’t carry the weight on his shoulders with AD sitting out due to injury.
