Childhood is the essential part of life that shapes the future of an individual. That’s what is the theme of the newly launched Shaping Us campaign by the Princess of Wales, to highlight the importance of childhood in one’s life. Many celebrities, including David Beckham, have responded to the campaign. Princess Kate Middleton kicked it off by sharing her childhood pic on Twitter.

Shaping Us is a long-term campaign launched by The Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood. Princess Kate is heading the campaign. The campaign aims to increase awareness about the role early childhood plays in shaping our future. And has asked others to post pictures of their childhood.

David Beckham and Victoria Beckham respond to the campaign

The Beckham couple became the few celebrities to support the campaign on its launch. They posted their childhood pictures relevant to the campaign. Former Manchester United legend shared a pic donning the United jersey on his social media. 

The MLS franchise Inter Miami owner, famous for his bending free kicks, shared a picture from when he was four. The pic shows the legend ready to take a free kick, and he captioned it, ” 4yrs Old Practicing Free kicks.” Next up to share the picture from childhood was Spice Girl and Beckham’s wife, Victoria. 

Victoria rose to fame with SpiceGirl and is recognized as a fashion icon currently. We can see her wearing an adorable blue and white knitted poncho, in the picture of her childhood, to support the campaign. Victoria wrote, “I was three years old in this picture and already experimenting with fashion!

“Our early childhood years are so important to shaping the rest of our lives. That’s why I’m supporting The Princess Of Wales in supporting Shaping Us. Join me in posting your favorite childhood photo with The Princess Of Wales and early Childhood,” she continued.

Another English soccer star supports the campaign

It was not only Beckham who supported the campaign. Current England men’s team striker Harry Kane and women’s team player Leah Williamson also came up with pictures from their childhood to bolster Shaping Us. The Tottenham Hotspur striker shared a pic from when he was five.

However, Williamson shared a pic in a fairy costume when she was three with the caption, “starting to believe in.” Other celebrities who are supporting the campaign include Broadcaster Fearne Cotton, Chef Jamie Oliver, Amanda Holden, and singer Rochelle Humes amongst many.
