One of the next-generation players, Daniil Medvedev also talked about the differences between the younger players and the older players.

Daniil Medvedev explained that the young players lack experience and playing more Grand Slam tournaments will certainly help in gaining the necessary experience. He gave the example of Alexander Zverev and explicated that the mature players have a better mindset in a five-setter match.

He continued, “Us younger guys are not really experienced. You gain experience when you play major tournaments. Take Alexander Zverev, he has won Masters 1000s and ATP Finals. But he did not get any Grand Slam title yet. The veterans have a completely different mindset. They are better in five sets.”

The 23-year-old also revealed the most talented player in the world. “Who is the most talented player? Roger Federer For his unique talent. Even Novak Djokovic plays like a machine and has a powerful attitude when he is at his best. It’s impossible to beat him,” the Russian added.

Daniil Medvedev believes that though it is impossible to defeat Novak Djokovic when he is at his best, Roger Federer is awe-inspiring in any aspect of the game. He further continued “But Roger is great in any aspect. Beautiful, elegant, with a sort of artistic ability… No one can do it.”
