Renault driver Daniel Ricciardo is an absolute joy to be around on the F1 paddock and everyone loves him for it. Following the conclusion of the Austrian Grand Prix, the Australian was up to his usual antics. This time, the unfortunate victim was Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel.
The German driver was talking about his race and his strategy with Daniel Ricciardo standing behind. The Aussie then proceeded to breathe down Sebastian Vettel’s neck, literally. So while Vettel was talking, Ricciardo was busy blowing on his neck, and the former had to be commended for not breaking.

In a way, it could be seen as Daniel Ricciardo breathing down Vettel’s neck for his seat. Earlier, there were rumours floating around that in the unlikely event of Vettel leaving Ferrari, Ricciardo could be roped in.
Coming back to this season, the 30-year old has admitted that McLaren are now the team to beat for fourth place.

“Looking at the McLarens they certainly are the benchmark now and they have really come on, and they are the ones with that kind of package that we are looking for,” said Ricciardo.
“It seems that they are able to run more downforce and more efficiently, so they can run higher downforce yet lose less in the straights.
“Our package when we do run more, we don’t seem to be able to use it well. That is something.

“Whether that goes back to correlation in the wind tunnel, all these things, all that is going to be addressed and we will try to figure it out. Absolutely something is not adding up.
“The team has invested a lot and the value for money is not coming yet. So where that lies, I don’t know, but we will see.”
