Renault driver Daniel Ricciardo is one of the most likeable and easy-going drivers on the F1 grid. The man is quite hilarious and his race craft is quite exceptional when on song. Back in 2018, when he was in Red Bull, the Australian driver collided with teammate Max Verstappen in Baku and took themselves out of the race.
As an unspoken rule, colliding with your teammate is a BIG no in motorsport as it compromises the team. In addition to that, the dynamic between the teammates will threaten to split. However, as mentioned before, Daniel Ricciardo is one driver who is impossible to dislike.
Max and I established that handshake after Baku. It’s called tangled love. Personal. https://t.co/Sn4PQRwOVW

Recently the Formula One Twitter account posted an image of Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen shaking hands. However, the position of their hands seemed a little odd for a regular handshake. Ricciardo retweeted the image, dubbing it ‘Tangled Love’, something that the two came up with after Baku.
With regard to the Austrian Grand Prix, the two drivers had contrasting fortunes in the race. Max Verstappen went on to win the race, but Daniel Ricciardo was outside a point-scoring place.
