Dani Alves has signed a new 2-year deal with Barcelona the club announced on Tuesday. The contract also has an option for an extra 3rd season.
The right-back whose contract was to be over this season, had been linked with several clubs and most notably AC Milan and Manchester United, with Alves himself stating that it would be a pleasure to play for the former. Also signing of Alex Vidal earlier today, who can also play at right-back made it pretty clear that the Catalonian club is preparing for life without the 32-year old.
But now all that has come to an abrupt end after Brazilian signed the new contract.
