The tweet has gone viral on Twitter, and many MMA fans have come out and said that the UFC 246 main event was fixed. While that’s a very wild accusation, it could have been due to the disappointing fight we witnessed on McGregor’s return. Cerrone and McGregor promised a war, however, the fight only lasted for 40 seconds, in one of the shortest victories in UFC PPV.
“I know that there are always critics. And there is always somebody who has an opinion. People are gonna say Cowboy was shot, which is total bullshit. Conor McGregor came out, he looked fast, he hit hard, he had a gameplan, and he finished a real tough kid who came to win.”
Dana White praised Conor McGregor has his brilliant performance against Donald Cerrone at UFC 246. McGregor took the arena by storm as he knocked out Donald Cerrone in the first round, to announce his return to the octagon. He also rubbished any claims which said that the fight was fixed.
