The preparations for the coming 2021 Australian Open have already begun in every part of the world. Bosnian Number 1 Damir Dzumhur and Serbia’s Filip Krajinovic recently started training at the Novak Tennis Centre. Damir’s Coach Petar Popovic expressed gratitude to World No. 1 Novak Djokovic and also shared the duo’s enticing practice session.
With record titles in Australia (8), Serbia’s finest also has a chance to complete his second hat-trick Down Under. That is to say, he is the only player to win the same major tournament three years in a row. And after 2011-2013, the 33-year-old can double the record in Australia with winning 2019-2021. For now, he has finished his 6 season as World No. 1 and is taking time off tennis.

Novak Djokovic helps fellow tennis players train for free
Located at Belgrade in Serbia, the Novak Tennis Centre will allow all Serbian players to train there without any cost. This not only elevates the morale of the players, but it also allows them to focus more on their training. Looking at Damir and Filip hit the ball, it is clear that they are really enjoying playing tennis now.

“Starting the preparation for 2021 @damirdzumhur @krajinovic_filip @novak.tennis.center. And special thanks to Novak what he did this winter for all Serbian players to provide them free courts, balls, food, hotel, stringing…etc. Just wow hat down @djokernole,” said coach Popovic in the post.
Being the best player in the world comes with its baggage of responsibilities; however, Novak handles it pretty well. Standing on the podium of the Big Three with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, the Serbian deserves all his achievements.

Novak is chasing another great record in 2021
Apart from giving free training to Serbian players, the 17 Grand Slam winner also likes to win records. Currently, closing in on 300 weeks, Novak will surpass Federer’s 310 weeks as the Number 1 record in March or April.

As long as he is playing, it can always be anticipated that Novak is the favourite in every tournament. However, with the schedule crisis going on in Australia, there is still time for him to go back to training. The coming weeks will finalise the fate of the first major tournament of 2021, but the players have already begun their campaign.
