Damar Hamlin, Buffalo Bills’s safety took inspiration from his injuries. Reflecting back on the time gone away from the game, the Second team all ACC 2020 took the field. While being greeted by scores of fans, Hamlin felt at home and participated in contact sessions.?

The 25-year-old was overwhelmed and said ?My faith is stronger than any fear. That?s what I want to preach up here. And that?s the message I want to get out of the world as long as your faith is stronger than your fear, you can overcome anything.? The subliminal message worked like magic for the safety player. This wasn’t the only comeback that Buffalo Bills witnessed, there was another integral Bills member that graced the field ahead of the practice sessions.

Kim Pegula?s miraculous return

Bills co-owner Kim Pegula made an emotional return to the camp after a close brush with a cardiac arrest. Sitting in her SUV, she carefully assessed her players’ performance, resuming her duties after a 14-month hiatus. The star players were thrilled to see her back and took the opportunity to check in with her.

Leading the pack, Josh Allen, the Buffalo Bills quarterback, approached Kim and genuinely inquired about her health. Kim’s 54-year-old daughter, Jessica Pegula, who played a central role in her mother?s recovery also expressed her thoughts. As a tennis star herself, Jessica had faced challenges in communicating with her mother during her concussion recovery. Reflecting on the family’s journey, she shared, “I think it?s kind of the next step for our family – to see how much she wants to be around all the action and the games this year.” Jessica went on to praise her mother’s strong-willed nature, saying, ?It?s been a tough year. It?s nice for her and nice for everyone around to just see that she?s doing well.??
