Cyberpunk 2077 recently took the Playstation audience on a deep dive into the game’s performance on both the PS5 and PS4, respectively. The game’s release date is right around the corner, as the console community steps into the era of next-gen gaming.

How will Cyberpunk 2077 run on PS4 Pro and PS5?

With the latest video, Cyberpunk has provided an answer to that question. With it, the developers have shared interesting news with the fans along with a comparison on PS4 Pro and PS5. The game works well across both consoles, with no noticeable performance difference, as the game progress from one console recorded video to another, it feels amazing.

Will it be backward compatible? 

Addressing the looming question of the fans, CD Projekt RED (CDPR) has assured all the fans that the game will be available on both next-gen and previous-gen consoles. So picking up a Xbox or a Playstation of the previous generation will not keep you from playing the game.

No charge for Next-Gen performance upgrade

CDPR has also announced a full performance upgrade for the game, tailored for the next-gen consoles, at no extra charge at all. It will be available for everyone next year. Until then, the game will run on your next-gen consoles, thanks to backwards compatibility.

Playstation users know precisely what is in store for them, as we get closer and closer to its eventual release on December 10th. Meanwhile, CDPR is actively working on tweaking and fine-tuning the game before it finally launches.
