Cyberpunk 2077 is possibly the most awaited title of the year. The game features some big next-gen features from developers CD Projekt. One question many had was whether the game would feature a free DLC. Fans enjoyed two expansions in CD Projekt’s Witcher 3 and the same will be true for Cyberpunk 2077 too.

Cyberpunk’s official twitter handle replied to a fan’s question, confirming it.

Cyberpunk 2077 to follow the Witcher route

The upcoming open-world RPG is a first of its kind. Cyberpunk 2077 follows the plot of V, a mercenary who has three distinct ways to start his/her journey in Night City; a future adaptation of North California.

Witcher 3, one of the most successful games of all time developed by CD Projekt Red, came with a collection of 16 DLC’s. They contained cosmetics and in-game content alongside the new Game Plus mode.

All this was in addition to the two vast expansions, namely Heart of Stone and Blood and Wine. These were multi-hour stories and continued Geralt’s adventures beyond the main storyline. However, the expansion packs weren’t free and were bundled together for $24.99.

We can expect something similar for Cyberpunk 2077 as well. The game looks and feels bigger than Witcher 3, so it’ll likely include more DLC and expansion packs. CD Projekt has not revealed further details, so we’ll have to wait to get an in-depth idea.

The game will also feature some splendid music. Keanu Reeves won’t be singing, but on the bright side, the game will have some good tracks to tune into.
